Inclusive Livelihood Policy Lead at Humanity & Inclusion
Angela is a data-driven inclusion specialist passionate about inclusion in emerging markets, with expertise in inclusion, intersectionality and accessibility. She has a decade of experience working globally on employment, economic development and education issues for diverse populations across the U.S., Asia, Africa and Europe, with a passion for working with persons with disabilities.
Angela presently works as a Policy Lead on Disability Inclusive Livelihoods in Humanity & Inclusion’s Global Technical Unit, where she ensures high quality delivery of disability inclusive employment and more broadly, economic development projects. This includes supporting project aiming to advance the employment talented job seekers with disabilities, while simultaneously working with corporations to advance their disability inclusive employment objectives.
Complementary to her practical experience with direct project implementation, Angela has authored multiple White Papers on employment of persons with disabilities, focusing on advancing employment in low and middle income countries. Angela is a founding member of the Harkin Summit on Disability Employment, and worked with the UK Government on their framework for the Global Disability Summit. She’s spoken at the SEEP Network conference, the Harkin Summit, and across numerous webinars and inclusion trainings.
Angela holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development with Honors from the University of Oregon, with minors in Inclusive Education and Religions Studies.
